About the Product
The 40 ft HC Reefer is a refrigerated container for high-volume transport of cold-chain cargo. Forty-foot reefers are available as 40 ft dry-van reefers and 40 ft high-cube reefers; in practice, the 40 ft HC RF type is more widely preferred.
Although external dimensions match standard equipment, internal dimensions differ because of the refrigeration machinery. Cooling uses air circulation: cold air generated by the unit moves throughout the container to maintain an even temperature around the cargo.

About 40 ft HC Reefer
The refrigeration machinery occupies internal space, so the internal dimensions are smaller than those of a standard 40 ft container.
Cooling is achieved by circulating cold air produced by the unit throughout the container to maintain an even temperature.
